Job Description

QA Engineer(NetSuite)


Location


Key Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Analyze test results, prepare test reports, and provide feedback to the development team.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Understanding Oracle NetSuite customization features like SuiteScripts, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteTalk, etc., is an added advantage. 


Preferred Qualifications


  • Minimum of

    1 year of experience

     in manual testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript or any modern programming language.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SOAPUI.
  • Proficient in functional, regression, and negative testing.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with browser developer tools for client-side debugging.
  • Comfortable working on test data preparation, and validation steps of business steps.
  • Ability to analyze script or workflow deployment logs and debug using NetSuite’s tools is an added advantage. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
