Job Description

This is a strictly on-location role. Only candidates currently residing in Chh. Sambhajinagar should apply. Key Responsibilities: Procurement of Raw Materials : Source and purchase pharmaceutical actives (APIs) and packaging materials in accordance with production schedules. Maintenance & Administrative Purchases : Handle procurement for plant maintenance items and general administrative needs. Vendor Management : Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices and payment terms. Purchase Orders : Prepare and manage timely and accurate purchase orders. Cost Control : Work closely with plant and finance teams to reduce plant outflow and drive cost-efficiency. Budgeting : Assist in purchase planning and budget allocation based on plant requirements and forecasted needs. Compliance : Ensure procurement activities comply with internal SOPs and pharmaceutical standards. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement or purchase function, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment Strong negotiation and communication skills Excellent understanding of budgeting, pricing structures, and vendor management Prior experience in pharma or manufacturing purchase is highly desirable Show more Show less
