Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Purchase Officer to join our team at our on-site location in Coimbatore. The Purchase Officer will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, preparing and overseeing purchase orders and requisitions, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, and negotiating contracts to ensure the best value for the organization. This role also involves analyzing market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement decisions and maintain a seamless supply chain.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding and practical experience in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Purchase Requisitions.
• Skills in Contract Negotiation to effectively manage terms with vendors and suppliers.
• Proficiency in Analytical Skills to assess data, evaluate supplier performance, and inform purchasing decisions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the pumps or water technology industry is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
