Purchase Officer

A cosmetic purchase officer, like any other purchasing officer, manages the acquisition of goods and services for their organization, with specific expertise in the cosmetics, personal care, and FMCG industries.

Sourcing and Vendor Management

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for raw materials, primary and secondary packaging (e.g., tubes, bottles, jars, cartons, labels), and third-party manufacturing services.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, new materials, sustainable sourcing practices, and business opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure advantageous deals and achieve cost efficiencies.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers to foster reliable partnerships. Procurement and Operations
• Process and issue purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of all goods and materials to meet production schedules.
• Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Planning) to understand material requirements and align purchasing with company needs and budgets.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
• Resolve shipment errors or supply chain issues promptly to avoid delays in production.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹40,761.23 per month
