Purchase Officer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the procurement of raw materials, maintenance & administrative purchases, managing purchase orders, cost control, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with internal SOPs and pharmaceutical standards. Key Responsibilities: - Source and purchase pharmaceutical actives (APIs) and packaging materials in accordance with production schedules. - Handle procurement for plant maintenance items and general administrative needs. - Prepare and manage timely and accurate purchase orders. - Work closely with plant and finance teams to reduce plant outflow and drive cost-efficiency. - Assist in purchase planning and budget allocation based on plant requirements and forecasted needs. - Ensure procurement activities comply with internal SOPs and pharmaceutical standards. Qualification Required: - Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field - Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement or purchase function, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment - Strong negotiation and communication skills - Excellent understanding of budgeting, pricing structures, and vendor management - Prior experience in pharma or manufacturing purchase is highly desirable.,
