Purchase Manager

·        Ensure timely availability of raw materials and bought-out components

·        Manage inventory levels to meet production requirements

·        Minimize purchase costs through strategic sourcing and negotiation

·        cost reduction

·        Maintain minimum inventory levels without any plant shortages

·        Develop and implement long-term contracts with suppliers

·        Ensure timely development of new parts and components

·        Negotiate and finalize contracts for long-term price agreements

·        Manage contracts with service providers

·        Finalize procurement of capital goods and equipment and contracts

·        Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

·        Participate in ERP implementation and integration projects

·        Ensure integration of procurement processes with ERP systems

·        Prepare Annual Management Information System (MIS) reports

·        annual forecasts and negotiate with suppliers

·        Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality

·        Identify opportunities for cost reduction and betterment

Qualifications:

Key skills Required:

·        Strong negotiation and communication skills

·        Ability to analyse data and drive business decisions

·        Experience with contract management, supplier development, and ERP systems

·        Ability to lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals.
