Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities Procurement & Vendor Management • Manage end-to-end purchasing operations including sourcing, vendor coordination, and procurement planning. • Obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate rates, and finalize cost-effective deals. • Ensure timely follow-up on quotations, order confirmations, deliveries, and payment settlements. • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely supply and quality of materials. Documentation & Bookkeeping • Maintain accurate purchase records, bills, invoices, and related documentation. • Update purchase ledgers and support the accounts team with required financial entries. • Ensure proper filing of all purchase-related documents for audits and internal reviews. Inventory & Reporting • Coordinate with internal teams to assess and fulfil material and inventory requirements. • Prepare regular purchase reports and maintain stock records for both entities. • Support audit processes by providing accurate and timely documentation. Compliance • Adhere to company policies, procurement guidelines, and financial accuracy standards. • Ensure transparency and accountability in all purchasing processes. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement with strong bookkeeping/accounting exposure. • Solid understanding of purchase cycles, vendor management, and basic accounting principles. • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software/tools. • Strong negotiation, communication, and documentation skills. • Ability to multitask and manage procurement activities across two companies. • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
