Purchase Manager (F&B Industry)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to lead procurement functions for our F&B operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing food and beverage items, vendor management, cost optimization, and supply chain coordination. Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality or foodservice industry is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management: Handle end-to-end procurement of food, beverage, packaging, and other consumables in line with operational requirements.
• Vendor Development & Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers; maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
• Inventory Control: Coordinate with stores and kitchen teams to ensure optimal stock levels; minimize wastage and avoid stockouts.
• Cost Optimization: Negotiate with vendors for best pricing without compromising quality; monitor market trends to capitalize on favorable pricing.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to FSSAI norms, company procurement policies, and proper documentation of all purchase transactions.
• Coordination: Work closely with the culinary team, outlet managers, and finance for forecasting, budgeting, and procurement planning.
• Reporting: Maintain procurement records, analyze purchasing data, and provide periodic reports to senior management.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Purchase Manager in the food & beverage/hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of sourcing perishable and non-perishable F&B items.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with inventory and procurement software (e.g., IDS, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Hotel Management, or related field preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
