Job Title: Purchase Engineer – Department: Purchase / Procurement Location: Bhosari MIDC Qualification: Diploma , B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 0 – 2 Year (Fresher Preferred) Gender Preference: [If applicable – Male / Female Job Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer (Fresher) to support our procurement team in sourcing and managing consumable items used in mechanical manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of mechanical components, eagerness to learn procurement processes, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities: Assist in identifying, sourcing, and procuring consumable items such as tools, lubricants, fasteners, welding rods, cutting tools, etc. Obtain quotations from suppliers and prepare comparative statements. Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to understand material requirements. Maintain records of purchase orders, supplier details, and material delivery timelines. Ensure timely follow-up with vendors for material delivery and quality compliance. Support cost-saving initiatives through vendor development and alternative sourcing. Prepare purchase reports and assist the purchase manager in daily operations. Key Skills Required: Basic knowledge of mechanical consumables and industrial materials. Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Good communication and documentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Eagerness to learn procurement systems and ERP software.
