Purchase Executive

Position: Purchase Executive Department: Procurement / Supply Chain Location: Raipur Reports To: Purchase Manager / Head of Procurement Role Overview:The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely availability of materials and services at competitive prices without compromising on quality. The role demands strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:Source, negotiate, and finalize vendors and suppliers for required materials and services. Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods. Maintain and update vendor database and build long-term supplier relationships. Compare quotations, analyze pricing, and ensure cost-effectiveness. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse for requirements. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Follow up with suppliers for pending orders and resolve discrepancies. Prepare and maintain purchase records, reports, and pricing details. Support audits by providing procurement-related documents. Collaborate with accounts team for vendor payments and reconciliation. Key Skills & Competencies:Strong negotiation and communication skills. Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP/Tally or similar). Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in procurement/purchase (freshers with internships can also be considered). Analytical thinking and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
