Job Title: Purchase Executive

Department: Procurement & Supply Chain

Location: Tathawade, Pune, Maharashtra

Reports To: HRBP Manager / Director

Job Summary:

As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end procurement activities

for automation components, electrical panels, and project-based requirements. This role

demands a strategic mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and in-depth knowledge of industrial

procurement to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage reliable suppliers for automation components (PLCs, HMIs,

VFDs, electrical panels, wiring, etc.).

  • Negotiate terms of purchase, pricing, payment terms, delivery, and service support

agreements.

  • Forecast demand and maintain minimum inventory levels to support ongoing and upcoming

projects.

  • Raise and process purchase orders using internal ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and

compliance with requirements.

  • Coordinate with technical and commercial teams to understand technical specifications and

lead times.

  • Ensure timely delivery and track shipments to avoid project delays.
  • Conduct vendor evaluations and audits periodically to ensure supply chain reliability and

compliance.

  • Maintain cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost reduction without

compromising quality.

  • Handle import procurement (if applicable) and manage relevant documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery details

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Commerce.
  • 5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement in an industrial automation or electrical

panel manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of automation products (VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, cables, relays, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, procurement software, and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of supply chain and inventory management concepts.
  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a project-driven environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with reputed brands like Siemens, Schneider, Delta, Mitsubishi, etc.
  • Knowledge of import processes and logistics coordination.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
