Job Title: Purchase Executive – Construction Job Summary: The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring construction materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices, ensuring timely availability to support project execution. Key Responsibilities: * Identify and source reliable suppliers/vendors for construction materials and services. * Prepare and process purchase orders as per project requirements. * Negotiate terms, prices, delivery schedules, and payment conditions. * Maintain vendor database and establish long-term supplier relationships. * Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet site/project deadlines. * Monitor stock levels and coordinate with site engineers and project managers. * Verify material quality, specifications, and compliance with standards. * Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts. * Assist in cost control and budgeting of procurement activities. * Coordinate with accounts department for vendor payments. Key Skills Required: * Strong negotiation and communication skills. * Knowledge of construction materials and equipment. * Vendor management and market research ability. * Good planning, coordination, and organizational skills. * Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software (if applicable). Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Any feild * 1–4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction industry.
