Job Title: Site Engineer Job Summary: The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing construction activities on-site, ensuring that work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and within timelines. This role bridges the gap between technical design and on-ground execution, coordinating with contractors, workers, and project managers. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure project progress as per schedule. * Interpret and implement technical drawings, designs, and specifications. * Monitor quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with standards. * Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports. * Ensure adherence to safety protocols and site regulations. * Handle site-related issues, resolve technical problems, and suggest solutions. * Conduct inspections, measurements, and verification of completed works. Key Skills Required: * Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards. * Proficiency in AutoCAD/MS Office/Project management tools. * Problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Excellent communication and leadership abilities. * Ability to manage manpower and resources effectively. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field. * 1–5 years of experience in site supervision (construction field preferred). * Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
