Position Overview:-

We are looking for a motivated Purchase Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in engineering procurement. The role involves sourcing raw materials, managing suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely availability of materials for fabrication and machining operations.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Source and procure raw materials (CS, SS, Alloy steels), tools, and engineering components
• Evaluate vendors on price, quality, and delivery; prepare cost comparison sheets
• Issue and follow up purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with Production, Design, and Quality for material specifications
• Maintain vendor relationships and develop new suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and support planning of critical materials
• Verify technical documents like MTCs, test reports, and compliance certificates
• Maintain procurement MIS reports, documentation, and ERP entries
• sourcing and procurement of process instruments , valves and other bought outs for process industries

Required Skills & Competencies:-

Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Production, or related field

2–3 years of procurement experience in fabrication or manufacturing industry

Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills

Knowledge of metals, fabrication materials & engineering specifications

Good understanding of POs, RFQs, BOMs, and technical drawings

Proficiency in MS Office; ERP experience preferred

Strong communication, teamwork, and follow-up skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
