Role Overview

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer to manage the procurement of electrical and mechanical components for our EV workbench manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the EV or automobile industry and possess a strong technical understanding of electrical or mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure electrical and mechanical components required for EV workbench manufacturing.
• Liaise with vendors, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of components.
• Maintain inventory and ensure optimum stock levels.
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with the production and design teams to understand component requirements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and components relevant to EV manufacturing.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of purchase orders and supplier details.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Educational Background:

  Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

  or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior experience in

  EV or automobile industry

• Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
