Job Title: Certified Welding Trainer Location: Hybrid (Full-Time / Part-Time / Contract) About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and certified Welding Trainer to join our technical training team. The ideal candidate will have both hands-on welding expertise and the ability to effectively transfer skills to trainees. You must hold one or more recognized industry certifications and have a passion for teaching and mentoring future welding professionals. Key Responsibilities: Deliver structured and engaging welding training programs to students, apprentices, or professionals. Conduct both theory and practical sessions on welding techniques, safety protocols, and equipment handling. Evaluate trainee performance through tests, assessments, and hands-on demonstrations. Prepare course materials, instructional guides, and real-world welding exercises. Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe training environment. Stay updated on current industry practices, standards, and emerging technologies. Required Certifications (at least one or more from below): 1. American Welding Society (AWS) Certifications (Preferred) Certified Welder (CW) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Certified Welding Educator (CWE) Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS) Certified Robotic Arc Welding (CRAW) Operator/Technician 2. International Certifications CSWIP (UK) – Certification Scheme for Welding and Inspection Personnel IIW Certifications – IWE, IWT, IWS, or IWP 3. National/Trade School Certifications (India & North America) ITI / NCVT / SCVT Welding Certifications BHEL / NTPC / ONGC welder skill certifications Red Seal Certification (Canada) NCCER Welding Certification (USA) City & Guilds Welding Certification 4. Specialized Process Certifications (Highly Desirable) SMAW (Stick Welding) GMAW (MIG Welding) GTAW (TIG Welding) FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) Pipe Welding or Underwater Welding Certifications Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on welding experience. Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or technical training is highly desirable. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Familiarity with certification requirements and standards.
