Purchase Associate

Job Description

Seven Seas Hotel is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Associate to support the procurement operations by sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing hotel supplies and services at competitive prices. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery, maintain supplier relationships, and help optimize inventory and procurement costs while ensuring compliance with hotel standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required by various departments. Collect and compare quotations from vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality. Process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any supply issues or delays. Track inventory levels and coordinate with the stores team for restocking needs. Ensure all purchased items meet the required quality standards and specifications. Build and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers. Assist in negotiating contracts and terms of purchase with vendors. Monitor vendor performance and provide feedback for improvements. Comply with internal procurement policies and legal regulations. Assist in periodic audits and reporting for procurement activities. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or related field. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the hospitality industry. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Knowledge of procurement software and MS Office (especially Excel). Attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with hotel operations and common supplier requirements is a plus. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹11,007.21 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Work Location: In person
