Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PLC/MCC Proposal Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and technically sound proposals for PLC-based automation systems and MCC solutions. This role involves close coordination with the sales, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure proposals meet customer requirements, company standards, and cost expectations. Key Responsibilities Review customer inquiries, RFQs, and tender documents for PLC, MCC, and automation solutions. Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including system architecture, BOM (Bill of Materials), and cost estimation. Develop compliance statements, deviation lists, and technical clarifications. Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams for accurate costing and feasibility. Ensure proposals comply with industry standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications. Prepare technical presentations, bid documents, and supporting materials for clients. Support sales teams during customer discussions, presentations, and negotiations. Track and update proposal progress, maintain documentation, and ensure timely submissions. Continuously update knowledge on latest PLC platforms, MCC technologies, and industry trends. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation. 1-2 years of experience in proposal engineering for PLC, MCC, and automation systems. Strong knowledge of PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, etc.) and MCC design. Familiarity with switchgear, control panel design, VFDs, and field instrumentation. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and proposal tools. Strong technical writing and documentation skills. Ability to analyse technical specifications and provide cost-effective solutions.
