Proposal Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze client inquiries, technical specifications, and scope of work.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for engineering products, equipment, or turnkey projects.
• Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Finance teams for accurate estimation.
• Interact with vendors for quotation of outsourced items/services.
• Prepare costing sheets, BOQs, datasheets, and proposal documents.
• Ensure proposals meet company standards and client requirements.
• Prepare and maintain proposal documentation and revision history.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, technical discussions, and client clarifications if required.
• Track submitted proposals and support sales in negotiation and follow-up.
• Ensure timely submission of proposals within deadlines.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of technical specifications, drawings, and engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience with estimation and costing.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD (optional), and ERP systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with attention to detail.

Qualification & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in proposal/tendering/estimation roles in an engineering or manufacturing company

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
