Job Description

EPR & Sustainability Consulting – Waste Management Sector

We are a high-impact environmental compliance advisory serving India’s leading FMCG, electronics, and manufacturing brands. Operating at the intersection of policy, circular economy, and data analytics, our mission is to make Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for plastics and e-waste simple, transparent, and value-adding for producers.

Role: EPR Compliance Manager (On-Site)

Role & Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end EPR compliance projects – registration, data collection, authorization, and annual returns – for plastic packaging and e-waste streams.
Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and budgets, ensuring 100% on-time statutory submissions across multiple state pollution control boards.
Analyse material flow data, identify gaps, and design corrective action plans to minimise non-compliance risk and optimise recycling obligations.
Coordinate with recyclers, PROs, supply-chain partners, and internal teams to secure certificates, invoices, and audit evidence.
Prepare senior-management dashboards & regulatory reports; present insights, trends, and mitigation strategies.
Drive continuous improvement – update SOPs to reflect evolving CPCB guidelines, train cross-functional teams, and mentor junior analysts.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

5+ years managing Producer Responsibility or environmental compliance projects within plastics or electronics domain.
Sound knowledge of Indian EPR rules, CPCB portal workflows, and SPCB documentation procedures.
Proficiency in MS Excel/Sheets for large-volume data validation and reconciliation.
Demonstrated ability to interface with regulators and third-party auditors under tight timelines.
Engineering, Environmental Science, or related bachelor’s degree.

Preferred

Experience implementing ISO 14001 or ESG reporting frameworks.
Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP for material traceability.
Exposure to plastics credit or offset market mechanisms.
