Job Summary:


Project Manager


Key Responsibilities


1. Project Planning & Initiation

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare and present proposals, budgets, and schedules to clients and stakeholders.


2. Design Coordination

  • Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and clients to finalize design concepts.
  • Ensure design specifications align with client requirements and budget.
  • Oversee the development of technical drawings and documentation.


3. Budget & Cost Control

  • Establish and monitor project budgets.
  • Approve procurement of materials, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Manage cost variations and ensure financial targets are met.


4. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and installation processes.


5. Construction & Installation Oversight

  • Supervise on-site activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, workers, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress and resolve issues promptly.


6. Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Conduct regular site inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Address and rectify non-conformance issues.


7. Schedule & Timeline Management

  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Track progress and adjust plans as needed.
  • Ensure timely completion of milestones and final delivery.


8. Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain transparent communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports.
  • Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.


9. Risk Management

  • Identify potential project risks.
  • Develop mitigation strategies.
  • Address unforeseen issues proactively.


10. Post-Project Closeout

  • Conduct final inspections and obtain approvals.
  • Ensure proper handover of documentation, warranties, and manuals.
  • Gather client feedback and conduct post-occupancy evaluations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Good understanding of steel structures and furniture concepts.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Any relevant degree related to this profile
  • 5+ years of experience in a design or technical support role, preferably in the modular furniture manufacturing industry.
