Role Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing fire-fighting system installation projects from start to finish. This role requires strong project management skills, technical knowledge, team leadership, and effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Manage end-to-end project planning and execution for all fire-fighting system installations.
- Ensure projects are completed within defined scope, timeline, and budget.
2. Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams such as design, procurement, execution, and quality.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including clients, contractors, vendors, and consultants.
3. Team Management
- Lead engineering teams, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Resolve site-level issues and provide technical guidance.
4. Procurement & Logistics
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and firefighting system components.
- Ensure timely delivery and availability of project resources.
5. Budget & Cost Control
- Monitor project budgets and track expenses.
- Implement cost-control measures to minimize overruns.
6. Quality & Safety Compliance
- Ensure all projects comply with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation including BOQs, schedules, material requisitions, change orders, and client communication.
- Prepare progress reports for management and clients.
8. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Handle client meetings, updates, approvals, and issues.
9. Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Qualification: B.E./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3–5 years in Project Management (Fire Fighting, HVAC, MEP preferred)
- Strong knowledge of fire safety equipment & statutory norms.
- Excellent communication & leadership skills.
