Project Manager

The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end execution of solar EPC projects, both rooftop and ground mount, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Lead planning, scheduling, and execution for multiple solar EPC projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment with organizational goals.

Build and mentor teams (engineering, quality, survey, safety) and guide new talent.

Oversee project design optimization for generation, cost, regulatory compliance, and safety.

Responsible for reviewing project schedule, deliverables, and cost estimates in depth.

Manage site-specific challenges, land acquisition, local clearances, and stakeholder communication

Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve technical bottlenecks and ensure documented project progress.

Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, safety standards, and quality construction techniques are maintained across projects.

Implement quality assessment processes and conduct technical training.

Oversee documentation for internal and statutory audits and promote a culture of safety and excellence.

Interface regularly with project stakeholders, utility/DISCOM, contractors, off-takers for smooth execution.

Manage contracts, supplier negotiations, and procurement functions.

Provide technical expertise for land and resource identification to maximize output.

Analyze, manage, and mitigate execution risks; anticipate schedule or site-specific issues.

Prepare timely internal and external project reports regarding status, milestones, delay & mitigation and compliance.

Qualification & Experience

Educational qualification - Minimum B.Tech/B.E. (Electrical Engineering preferred)

Experience solar rooftop - Minimum 4 Years

Experience ground mount - Minimum 3 Years

Desired Skills

Strong understanding of Project management Software like ZOHO Projects, MS Projects, Excel

Strong leadership people management capabilities.

Strong communication abilities

Technical proficiency with solar design and planning software (such as PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD).

Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (IS, IEC), grid connectivity norms, and local market conditions.

Able to perform in high-pressure environments and meet expectations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
