Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Program Manager to lead the implementation of this program across Tamil Nadu.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Implementation & Management

o Oversee end-to-end implementation of the skill development project in alignment with TNSDC & Generation India’s guidelines.

o Manage training centre operations, ensure mobilization, training quality, assessments, and placements.

o Coordinate with local stakeholders, government representatives, industry partners, and community organizations.

Monitoring & Reporting

o Ensure compliance with project KPIs (mobilization, training completion, certification, and placement outcomes).

o Track and report project progress through regular MIS, dashboards, and narrative reports for TNSDC, Generation India, and Empower Pragati.

o Conduct periodic field visits to monitor centres, trainers, and mobilization teams.

Team Leadership & Capacity Building

o Lead, mentor, and support a team of mobilizers, trainers, and project staff across multiple locations.

o Organize regular training and capacity-building workshops for field teams.

Stakeholder Engagement

o Build strong relationships with district-level government officials, industry representatives, training partners, and community leaders.

o Represent Empower Pragati at state and district-level review meetings and stakeholder forums.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

o Ensure adherence to TNSDC standards, compliance protocols, and quality benchmarks.

o Identify implementation challenges and proactively develop solutions.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

 Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or Social Sciences from a top-ranked university.

 4–5 years of proven experience in implementing large-scale skill development or vocational training programs, preferably under government or CSR partnerships.

 Strong understanding of skill development ecosystem, placement-linked training models, and youth development interventions.

 Demonstrated ability to lead multi-location teams and manage diverse stakeholders.

 Proficiency in Tamil & English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
