Key Responsibilities

1. Project & Service Operations

  • Lead and manage project execution from planning to delivery ensuring timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Oversee service operations including diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, refurbishments, and spare parts availability.
  • Manage documentation, customer contracts, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize machine build processes with robust process controls and performance metrics.
  • Ensure effective procurement, inventory control, vendor management, and logistics.

2. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop project, service, and spares teams.
  • Build technical excellence and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Support onboarding, skills development, succession planning, and performance improvement.

3. Process Excellence & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, company policies, ISO 9001:2015 standards, and audit requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Implement best practices and drive operational excellence across all functions.

4. Communication & Cross-functional Coordination

  • Drive transparent communication through reporting tools, dashboards, and review meetings.
  • Lead cross-functional reviews with sales, supply chain, assembly, and design teams.
  • Coordinate on project plans, resource allocation, and issue resolution.

5. Resource & Budget Management

  • Plan and allocate manpower and resources effectively.
  • Monitor timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Forecast resource requirements to avoid bottlenecks.

6. Customer & Business Support

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely service delivery and quality.
  • Support sales in identifying new business opportunities.
  • Supervise customer site installations when required.

7. IT & Project Management Tools

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Project, ERP systems, and project management tools.


Mandatory Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing technical teams.
  • Proven experience in project management and service operations within capital equipment/manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of machining, assembly, manufacturing workflows, cycle time, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal), stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills.
  • High ethical standards, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (PMP certification is an added advantage).
