Project Engineer / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, production, supply chain, and quality) to achieve project milestones.
• Prepare project plans, allocate resources, monitor progress, and proactively resolve risks/issues.
• Support new product development (NPD) and custom engineering solutions aligned with customer requirements.
• Drive process optimization and cost reduction initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a team-oriented, innovative, and problem-solving culture.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and certification bodies to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
• Utilize project management tools to track deliverables, budgets, and timelines effectively.
• Contribute to the long-term growth of the startup by setting up scalable project management frameworks and best practices.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Mechanical / Automobile / Chemical Engineering

  (Master’s preferred).
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in

  project engineering or project management

  within manufacturing, automotive, or process industries.
• Hands-on exposure to

  product design & development, order engineering, or process optimization

  .
• Familiarity with project management software/tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of

  manufacturing processes

  (casting, machining, fabrication, or related areas).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to

  inspire and grow a team

  .
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle multiple priorities in a

  startup environment

  .
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) would be a plus.
