Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
The Project Manager (PMO) will be responsible for the following core areas :
PMO Interface & Communication
-  Act as the primary interface with the PMO, handling formal and informal communications, documentation, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
-  Support and facilitate project meetings, governance sessions, and training for project teams on PMO processes and tools.
 
Tool Administration & Management
-  Manage and maintain the Jira and Confluence environments, including administration, configuration of projects, workflows, custom fields, dashboards, and spaces for effective project tracking and knowledge sharing.
-  Maintain, structure, and optimize SharePoint repositories, including managing access, site permissions, content organization, and documentation workflows.
 
Reporting & Data Analysis
-  Develop, enhance, and automate Power BI dashboards and reports, connecting to various data sources (e.g., Jira, SQL databases, Excel) to provide insightful, real-time data on project status, resource utilization, budget vs. actuals, and portfolio health to leadership.
-  Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for reporting purposes.
 
Process Governance & Standardization
-  Contribute significantly to the standardization and continuous improvement of PMO processes, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
-  Assist in the evaluation, pilot, and implementation of new PMO tools, templates, and best practices.
 
Minimum Technical Requirements
The ideal candidate must demonstrate advanced technical skills in the following areas :
Project Management Tools :
 Expert-level proficiency in Jira (including Jira Service Management) and Confluence administration and usage.
-  Must be able to configure workflows, security schemes, and advanced reporting.
 
Business Intelligence (BI) :
 Strong hands-on experience in developing, publishing, and maintaining interactive dashboards using Power BI.
-  Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M language) for data modeling and manipulation.
 
Data & Databases :
 Solid understanding of relational database concepts and experience with SQL for querying and data preparation for reporting.
-  Experience working with APIs for data integration is a plus.
 
Collaboration & Document Management :
 Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, specifically administering and maintaining SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and implementing document control workflows.
Process Methodology :
 Working knowledge of standard project methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid) and PMO frameworks (e.g., PgMP, P3O concepts).PMP/PRINCE2 or Scrum Master certification is highly desirable.
Automation :
 Experience with basic scripting or automation tools (e.g., Power Automate/Flow, Python scripting for reporting automation) to enhance PMO operational efficiency(ref:hirist.tech)
