Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and initiation through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Lead Agile teams using Scrum methodologies and best practices.
• Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized product backlog.
• Ensure that teams adhere to Scrum principles and values, and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor project progress and performance using Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Act as a servant leader and coach for multiple Scrum teams.
• Identify project risks early and develop mitigation plans.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership in a clear and timely manner.
• Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams including developers, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Contribute to the organization's Agile maturity by promoting Agile values, educating stakeholders, and improving delivery processes.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of experience in project management in the IT/software industry.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Scrum and Agile frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Excellent understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams.
• Solid knowledge of project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, etc.).
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to anticipate challenges and resolve them proactively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM).
• Experience in client-facing roles or managing offshore/remote teams.
• Familiarity with DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with distributed teams or in a product-based environment.
