Job Description

Project Coordinator Trainee
This role sits within a high growth Software Quality Assurance and Digital Transformation consultancy in the IT Services and Product Engineering sector. The firm delivers mission critical testing, automation, and project delivery for global enterprise customers across finance, retail, and telecom. We help organisations accelerate releases, raise product quality, and realise measurable business value. You will work with a seasoned PMO that orchestrates multi team initiatives from conception to release.Role & Responsibilities
  • Assist senior project managers in planning, scheduling, and monitoring software delivery projects with Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
  • Create and maintain project artefacts including timelines, RAID logs, and status reports, sharing updates on agreed cadence.
  • Coordinate cross functional stand ups, sprint reviews, and backlog grooming sessions, tracking action items to closure.
  • Monitor budget burn, resource allocation, and vendor deliverables, flagging variances early and proposing corrective action.
  • Drive risk and issue escalation workflows, sustaining clear communication between engineering, quality assurance, and client teams.
  • Enhance PMO excellence by improving templates, documentation standards, and collaboration tooling.

Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 0–2 years experience or academic exposure to project management fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of MS Project, JIRA, or similar tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.

Preferred

  • Certification or coursework in PMP, CAPM, or Agile Scrum.
  • Exposure to SDLC within software testing or development environments.
  • Familiarity with risk management and basic financial tracking.
