Job Title: QA Intern Location: Bangalore | HSR Layout Work mode: Hybrid Department: Quality Assurance / Engineering About The Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern with a keen interest in test automation to join our Quality Assurance team. You will work closely with QA engineers and developers to understand the application, contribute to the development and execution of automated test cases, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Key Responsibilities Assist in writing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts. Support the QA team in identifying bugs and reporting them using tools like Jira or similar. Collaborate with developers and other QA engineers to understand features and develop effective test strategies. Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives (Agile environment). Contribute to the design of test frameworks and help improve test coverage and efficiency. Perform manual testing when necessary to validate features quickly. Required Skills & Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of QA methodologies, testing life cycle, and automation concepts. Hands-on experience with any automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.). Familiarity with at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript). Understanding of version control tools like Git. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar. Familiarity with REST API testing and tools like Postman or Rest Assured. Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
