Job Title: Accountant (0–2 Years Experience) Location: Bangalore Workmode: Hybrid Department: Finance & Accounts Job Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with 0–2 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and ensure accuracy in all financial records in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts. Perform general ledger entries and reconciliations. Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment follow-ups. Assist with tax filings, audits, and other compliance-related activities. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as needed. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP is a plus). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills Internship or prior experience in a similar role is an advantage. Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance (as applicable in your region). Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
