Project Engineer

Role Objective

The Project Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for supervising and executing day-to-day construction activities at the site, ensuring timely completion of work as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety norms. The role demands coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to deliver the project within defined timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Oversee civil construction works such as RCC, masonry, plastering, finishing, flooring, waterproofing, etc.
• Ensure work is executed strictly as per approved drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications.
• Monitor labor productivity, resource utilization, and minimize wastage.

2. Project Planning & Coordination

• Assist in preparing work schedules and micro-plans for timely execution.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP and subcontractors for smooth workflow.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and highlight delays or bottlenecks to management.

3. Quality Control & Safety

• Conduct regular quality checks on construction materials and workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, company standards, and RERA regulations where applicable.
• Implement safety protocols at the site, monitor PPE usage, and conduct toolbox talks.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), material consumption records, and labor attendance.
• Prepare measurement sheets and assist in contractor bill verification.
• Keep records of site inspections, test reports, and approvals.

5. Vendor & Contractor Management

• Supervise contractors and ensure timely mobilization of labor and resources.
• Coordinate with procurement team for timely delivery of materials.
• Resolve technical/site issues and escalate major challenges to the Project Manager.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, building codes, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in reading drawings, AutoCAD, MS Excel/Project, and site measurement techniques.
• Leadership and team-handling abilities.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and environment management practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8-9 years of experience in site execution within the real estate/construction industry.
• Hands-on experience in residential projects preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
