Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution
• Develop project schedules, milestones, and budgets.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and fabrication teams.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, IS, and other relevant codes.
• Design & Technical Review
• Review pressure vessel drawings, P&IDs, and GA diagrams.
• Ensure mechanical design calculations as per ASME Section VIII Div. 1/2.
• Collaborate with design engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Fabrication & Manufacturing Coordination
• Oversee material procurement (plates, forgings, nozzles, tubes, etc.).
• Coordinate fabrication processes (cutting, forming, welding, machining, assembly).
• Monitor WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications for compliance.
• Quality & Inspection
• Ensure stage-wise inspections (fit-up, welding, NDT, hydro test).
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies (Lloyd’s, BV, TUV).
• Maintain documentation for ITP, MDR, and quality records.
• Client & Vendor Coordination
• Act as the single point of contact for clients during project execution.
• Handle technical queries, change orders, and progress updates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery.
• Project Handover
• Ensure testing, inspection, and final documentation are completed.
• Support installation, commissioning, and client acceptance.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII, API 650/620, TEMA, IS codes.
• Proficiency in Auto Cad, PV Elite, Solid Works (for design review).
• Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, SAW) and NDT methods.
• Project management skills (planning, scheduling, resource allocation).
• Excellent communication for client/vendor interaction.

Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 3–8 years of experience in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, or fabrication projects.
• Certification in ASME / Welding Inspection (CSWIP, AWS) is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per year
