Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Management

  • Supervise, and support a team of field staff, including counsellors, facilitators and coordinators.
  • Ensure effective scheduling, deployment, and performance monitoring of the field team.
  • Support Project Manager in facilitating regular team meetings, debriefs, and one-on-ones to build morale, identify challenges, and improve execution.
  • Provide mentorship and resolve team-level conflicts or issues.

2. Programmes Implementation & Monitoring

  • Oversee the execution of workshops across partner organisations.
  • Support Project Manager in ensuring timely completion of outreach as per annual plans and targets.
  • Maintain field team schedules and field-level logistics.
  • Liaise with internal support teams and external stakeholders (e.g., child protection services, counselors) as necessary.
  • Create and maintain documentation of all programmatic and case-related work with confidentiality and compliance.
  • Attend strategic planning meetings and contribute to programme refinement.
  • Identify training needs of the field team and support the Project Manager with closing those gaps.

Planning & Coordination

  • Support Project Manager and make monthly and quarterly outreach plans aligned with annual programme targets.
  • Coordinate with school administrators, community organizations, and partners to schedule workshops.
  • Track workshop delivery, attendance, and feedback metrics using internal monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate with leadership to adjust plans based on outcomes and field realities.
  • Serve as the primary link between the field team and senior management.

Casework

  • File cases on behalf of child victims and/or support child victims and their families with filing FIRs, and ensure the smooth process formalities of legal procedures.
  • Build relationships with police stations, CWCs, hospitals, other NGOs, the community in general, etc. and manage relations with them.
  • Strategising, mentoring, supervising and managing the team in casework.

 

3. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain strong relationships with partner schools, local authorities, and community leaders.
  • Represent the organization at community events, partner meetings, and relevant forums.


4. Monitoring & Reporting

  • Ensure timely collection of field data, workshop reports, and impact metrics.
  • Analyze data trends to measure progress and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly progress reports for internal and external stakeholder purposes.



5. Training and capacity building

  • Design, manage and hold trainings for the programmatic team
  • Ensuring capacity building through internal and external trainings
  • Create and update SOPs, training specific manuals and material, etc..


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters Degree in counselling/ clinical/ social psychology/ social work/education or related fields
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience, especially team management


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must be fluent in English and Hindi. A fair command over Marathi would be appreciated
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite
  • Takes initiative
  • Require good interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Should be proficient in all forms of communications online and offline
  • Uses limited resources to deliver unlimited results
  • Attention to detail 


Major Interactions:

  • Would report to the Project Manager/Head for all matters related to Programmes and Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • Would report to the Directors for all matters related to Fundraising and Communications.
  • Would interact and engage with other NGOs, relevant sectoral members, funders, as required to promote Rubaroo's programmes
