Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator (Civil) will assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing civil and construction projects from initiation to completion. This role supports project managers and site teams to ensure all technical, administrative, and operational aspects of the project are executed on time, within scope, and within budget, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and scheduling project activities, resources, and timelines.
  • Coordinate daily site operations and ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation such as drawings, BOQs, contracts, and progress reports.
  • Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of materials and subcontractor services.
  • Monitor site progress and support quality assurance and safety compliance.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
  • Support cost tracking, invoice verification, and budget control activities.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to verify progress and compliance with project specifications.
  • Assist in preparing technical reports, RFIs, and change order documentation.
  • Maintain project records, drawings, and as-built documentation for handover.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination or site engineering in the construction / infrastructure sector.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction processes, materials, and project phases.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and reading technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of local construction codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
