Production Planning & Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts, orders, and inventory levels.
• Allocate resources (manpower, materials, and machines) to achieve production targets.
• Monitor production schedules, track progress, and ensure on-time completion.
• Coordinate with procurement, stores, and logistics for availability of raw materials and timely dispatch.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels of raw materials, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods.
• Analyze capacity utilization, downtime, and bottlenecks; suggest corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports on production performance and variances.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Support implementation of lean manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT), or other process improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with sales, quality, and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Production Planning & Control.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Opscale, Tally ERP, etc.) preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and report preparation.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
