Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for production of Electronics & Mechanical assemblies, testing and clearance from customers & agencies.
• Lead team of Production Engineers and Technicians. Supervise teams to achieve production goals and maintain a high level of performance.
• Control production flow, material flow and inventory to achieve production and quality targets.
• Ensure compliance of various standards like AS9100, ISO, VDA, ANSI.
• Responsible for achieving production KPIs: First Time Right, On Time Delivery, Quality targets, Turn Around Time.
• Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities in production. Work with cross functional teams to extended support to projects and design to implement lessons learnt.
• Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing plans, Bill of material, Work instruction, control plans and procedures.
• Lead method team for technical reviews addressing PCBA trouble shooting, non-conformances and perform root cause corrective action investigation related to manufacturing processes.
• Lead problem solving with suppliers and customers to address quality issues and drive product/process improvements.
• Responsible for material planning with purchase to ensure production targets are met with minimum inventory. Material issuance and consumption in SAP.
• Interacts with existing EMS suppliers to get FTR product and select, approve and develop new suppliers.
• Conduct PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) studies to identify potential risks and mitigate them.
• Lead the implementation of safety procedures, FOD prevention and non-conformance issues.
• Co-ordinate and ensure maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and test setups. Ensure calibration and health of all the equipment’s.

Key Skills & Requirements

• IPC-610 and AS9100 certified.
• 6+ years of work experience in the aerospace industry.
• 5+ years of experience leading a team of manufacturing engineers.
• 5+ years of experience in leading method/engineering team for RCCA and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of experience working with SAP.
• Knowledge of PCB layout, drawings and schematics
• Strong understanding of methods engineering and process engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
