Job Description

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our Electrification business. In this role you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of assigned portfolio in low voltage DIN Rail devices and Enclosure in India within the Global Product Group Energy Distribution, managing offering through all of its life cycle phases, according to market needs and Division/Product Group/Business line strategy and targets. You will support business results by overseeing all steps of the offering life cycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Market & Portfolio Management Manage market intelligence analysis, identify portfolio gaps and new opportunities, and manage the full product life cycle including obsolescence and end-of-life decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as the interface between market needs and internal teams (Sales, Operations, R&D) to set and monitor targets for cost, pricing, and competitiveness.
  • Product Development & Launch Contribute to new product portfolio development by defining technical, cost, and investment targets; coordinate product launch and marketing communication strategies.
  • Performance & Leadership Manage offering profitability, monitor sales performance and margins, coordinate channel strategies, and guide and develop team members to reach business objectives.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Educational Qualification Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Language Skills Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with good communication abilities.
  • Industry Knowledge Solid understanding of low-voltage energy distribution products, applications, and solutions, including DIN Rail components.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management or Product Marketing in the electrical industry.
  • Execution Capability Skilled at managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and delivering results under tight timelines.
  • Leadership & Collaboration Effective leadership, teamwork, and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and geographies.
  • Strategic & Analytical Skills Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving ability, and a results-oriented mindset with cultural awareness.
