We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive sales of Retsch's premium sample preparation and particle analysis equipment in India. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in material characterization, particularly in milling, sieving, and particle analysis, combined with proven sales expertise in laboratory equipment. Doing what is fun Develop and execute sales strategies for Carbolite's complete thermal equipment product line including laboratory ovens, furnaces, and heat treatment systems Build and maintain relationships with key customers in research institutions, industrial laboratories, and quality control departments Prepare and present technical proposals and conduct demonstrations of thermal processing equipment Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory in India Identify new market opportunities across various industries (materials science, metallurgy, ceramics, pharmaceuticals, aerospace) Support customers with application-specific solutions in heat treatment, thermal analysis, and materials testing Collaborate with global technical teams to address complex thermal processing requirements Provide guidance on thermal method development and temperature-controlled processing protocols Troubleshoot technical issues related to thermal equipment and recommend appropriate solutions Qualifications Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or Electronics Engineering Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, specifically in laboratory equipment, analytical instruments, or precision engineering equipment Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the Indian market Experience with instrumentation, automation systems, and analytical equipment Additional knowledge of particle size analysis and material characterization would be an added advantage What we have to offer Competitive base salary package aligned with industry standards Performance-based incentives and bonus structure Medical insurance coverage for you and your family Travel allowance for business-related expenses Work-life balance with flexible scheduling options Exclusive access to Verder University's online learning platform Specialized training in German testing equipment and technology Regular technical workshops and skill development programs Mentorship from industry experts Show more Show less
