Position - Product Owner/Scrum Master Location: Bangalore Experience: 6+ years Job Role We are seeking a Product Owner/Scrum Master with expertise in large-scale data projects, multi-database environments, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have experience working with multi-regional teams, managing Snowflake developers, and driving Agile methodologies to ensure seamless execution of data-driven initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to oversee the end-to-end data pipeline while aligning with business and functional requirements. Responsibilities Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Manage and mentor a team of Snowflake developers, ensuring alignment with project goals and deliverables. Write clear, concise user stories and ensure their successful development and implementation. Collaborate with developers to refine user stories and define acceptance criteria. Oversee the end-to-end data pipeline, ensuring data integrity, transformation, and accessibility across systems. Understand business and functional requirements to drive effective data solutions. Collaborate with multi-regional teams, aligning stakeholders and resolving cross-regional dependencies. Protect teams from overcommitment and scope creep while aiding in estimation and task breakdown. Analyze burndown charts, sprint velocity, and portfolio planning tools to drive execution improvements. Identify and remove blockers, optimize workflows, and enhance team productivity. Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment and transparency. Ensure adherence to privacy, security, and data governance policies while managing project deliverables. Required Skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, Organizational Development, or related fields. Proven experience working on large-scale data projects with multiple databases.Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms. Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies; Scrum Master certification (CSM/PSM) is a plus. Ability to manage and lead a team of Snowflake developers. Experience writing and refining user stories, ensuring successful delivery by development teams. Strong understanding of the end-to-end data pipeline, including ingestion, transformation, and analytics. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. Experience working with distributed, multi-regional teams and managing dependencies. Demonstrated ability to analyze data-driven insights and make strategic decisions. Strong problem-solving and risk management skills to handle project roadblocks effectively. Ability to work independently, as well as lead a team in complex, non-routine situations.
