Product Ownership

Define and communicate the product vision and completion of the task code wiseOwn and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, user needs, and technical constraintsWrite clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and refine requirements with development teamsPerform product discovery, analyze feedback, and make data-driven decisionsCoordinate feature releases, drive go-to-market planning, and measure success using KPIs

Code & Technical Ownership

Partner with developers and business to ensure product decisions align with scalable technical architecture

Own Codebase Components At a Product Level, Ensuring

Code qualityTechnical debt monitoringDocumentation completenessClear ownership of modules/servicesParticipate in sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming to balance new features vs. refactoringSupport engineering in defining coding standards, testing expectations, and deployment readinessReview high-level design proposals and raise risks earlyEnsure that product changes do not compromise security, performance, or reliability

Skills & Requirements

1+ years as Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar roleStrong understanding of software development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum preferred)Experience working with engineering teams and technical architecturesAbility to read/understand code (not necessarily write production-level code, but technically fluent)Excellent communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, issue tracking (Jira, Linear, Azure DevOps, etc.)Documentation and ownership are clear and maintainedStakeholders understand decisions and trade-offs
