Job Title: Product Analyst
Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Product Owner with deep domain knowledge in investment management to lead the development of technology solutions that support portfolio management and client reporting. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between investment professionals and technology teams, driving innovation and efficiency across the investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Product Leadership
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for investment management platforms.
- Align product development with business goals, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with portfolio managers and client service teams to gather and prioritize requirements.
- Translate complex investment workflows into clear, actionable user stories and product features.
Agile Product Management
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact features.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Domain Expertise
- Understand key investment concepts such as asset allocation, portfolio construction, performance attribution, and risk metrics.
- Ensure product features support regulatory compliance (e.g., MiFID II, SEC, ESG reporting).
Technology & Data Integration
- Collaborate with data and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with market data providers, OMS/PMS systems, and client reporting tools.
- Good knowledge of data fields mappings for on-boarding data onto third party system.
- Support data governance, quality assurance, and analytics initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field; CFA or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in investment management or financial services, with at least 2 years in a Product Owner or Business Analyst role.
- Strong understanding of investment processes, instruments, and regulatory landscape.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with portfolio management systems from Investment Management or Real Estate Investment Management
- Familiarity with data platforms and BI tools (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau).
- Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or Agile Product Management.
