About the Role: Payments have a critical role to play in providing a delightful payment experience to our domestic and international users in performing transactions across multiple apps and use cases within Sharechat. We're seeking an experienced and customer-obsessed Product Manager – Payments to lead the strategy and execution of our payments platform. You will own the end-to-end customer experience for transaction experience for domestic and international users, fraud prevention, payment compliance, and post-payment flows. What Will You Do Develop and execute the product roadmap for Payments, aligning with company goals. Define KPIs and own metrics like conversion rates, payment success, fraud rate, and refunds. Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, business, design, data science, finance, policy, and external payment providers. Identify and integrate new payment methods tailored to customer preferences in different markets. Work with fraud and risk teams to improve transaction safety and minimize chargebacks. Drive continuous improvements in the checkout UX to reduce friction and payment stage dropoffs Ensure compliance with global regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GIAP etc.) Analyze user behavior and transaction data to derive insights and prioritize features. Who are you? 3–7 years of product management experience, in payments platform in an e-commerce or fintech. Strong understanding of payment processing flows, gateways, wallets, UPI, cards, and global/local payment methods. Experience with APIs, backend services, and working closely with engineering teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient in Excel, SQL or Python/R and has working knowledge of systems and data architecture Proven track record of shipping successful products in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks around payments is a plus. Where will you be: Bangalore (Hybrid) Preferred Qualifications: MBA or technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience working with 3rd party payment platforms (e.g., Razorpay, Cashfree, PayPal). Familiarity with fraud detection tools and risk management systems.
