Product Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Conceptualization & Design

   
• Develop new lighting product concepts aligned with market trends, customer insights, and sustainability goals. 
• Translate business and customer needs into 

  product specifications and innovative design solutions

  . 

• User-Centric & Market Research

   
• Conduct 

  user research, market benchmarking, and competitor analysis

   to identify design opportunities. 
• Incorporate customer feedback and trends in 

  lighting technology, smart features, and aesthetics

  . 

• Collaboration & Development

   
• Work closely with 

  R&D, industrial design, engineering, and manufacturing teams

   to ensure designs are both innovative and manufacturable. 
• Coordinate with the 

  marketing and trade marketing teams

   to ensure product design supports brand positioning and in-store visibility. 

• Technical & Prototyping

   
• Develop 

  3D models, sketches, and prototypes

   to visualize and refine product concepts. 
• Collaborate with suppliers on 

  materials, finishes, and components

   suited for LED lighting solutions. 

• Sustainability & Compliance

   
• Ensure products comply with 

  industry standards, safety certifications, and energy efficiency regulations

  . 
• Integrate principles of 

  sustainability and eco-friendly design

   in product development. 

• Innovation & Continuous Improvement

   
• Explore new 

  smart lighting technologies, IoT integration, and design trends

   to keep Legero Lighting ahead in the market. 
• Continuously improve existing product lines based on 

  performance, feedback, and brand strategy

  . 

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in 

  Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field

  . 
• 3–6 years of experience in 

  product design within lighting, furniture or building material, consumer electronics, or electrical appliances

  . 
• Proficiency in 

  CAD software (SolidWorks, Rhino, CATIA, AutoCAD)

   and rendering tools (KeyShot, Adobe Suite). 
• Strong knowledge of 

  materials, finishes, ergonomics, and manufacturing processes

   relevant to products. 
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong 

  problem-solving and visualization skills

  . 
• Excellent communication skills to present design concepts and collaborate across teams.
