InCommon is hiring on behalf of an early-stage digital commerce startup. Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore (In-office only) Experience: 2 - 4 years About the Role: As a Product Designer at ShopOS, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping the user experience of our Gen AI-native commerce platform. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user interfaces that make powerful AI workflows feel simple, intuitive, and delightful. This is an opportunity to work at the frontier of commerce and creativity—designing tools that help brands launch faster, operate smarter, and sell more with less effort. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and creative teams to translate fuzzy ideas into polished experiences across web and mobile. Key Responsibilities: Design end-to-end product experiences - from flows and wireframes to polished UI Collaborate with PMs and engineers to define problems, explore solutions, and ship fast Craft intuitive UX for AI-driven workflows, data-rich dashboards, and storefront tools Contribute to and evolve the design system - ensuring visual consistency and scalability Prototype interactions and flows to test and iterate quickly Bring customer insights into design through research, interviews, and analytics Deliver production-ready design specs and assets to engineers Advocate for users while balancing business and technical constraints Basic Qualifications: 2–4 years of full-time experience as a product designer or UX/UI designer Strong portfolio showcasing user-centric digital products (B2B, SaaS, tools, or consumer apps) Proficiency in Figma and common design tools Comfort with wireframing, UI design, prototyping, and basic user research Experience working in cross-functional teams with engineers and product managers Ability to handle feedback and iterate quickly High attention to detail and polish Clear communication skills and strong design rationale Bonus Points Experience working on AI, automation, or creative tools Familiarity with design systems and component libraries Experience designing eCommerce platforms, CMS, or workflow tools Motion design or micro-interaction skills Basic understanding of frontend development or design handoff best practices Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment Deep curiosity about new design paradigms, interfaces, and tech What You’ll Be Designing: Product catalog and automation interfaces Content creation tools powered by Gen AI Storefront preview and visual merchandising systems Dashboards, onboarding flows, and internal tools Visual editors and configuration workflows Creative feedback and iteration tools Our Values: Extreme ownership and bias for action Honest, high-velocity communication Respect for craft and obsession with users Fast, scrappy iteration over perfection Low ego, high empathy, radical candor What We Offer: Competitive salary + equity Work from our vibrant Bangalore (HSR Layout) or Chennai (Nungambakkam) offices High-trust, high-speed environment with autonomy to own and ship Mentorship from design, product, and AI leaders Exposure to cutting-edge problems at the intersection of commerce and creativity Creative freedom with real-world impact
