Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership

• Own and drive the end-to-end design vision and execution for core product areas across mobile and web.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and usability across user journeys, from discovery and ideation to delivery and iteration.
• Champion scalable design systems, UI libraries, and cross-platform patterns.

People Management

• Mentor, coach, and grow a team of talented product designers.
• Foster a culture of feedback, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Define clear growth paths and performance standards for the design team.

Strategic Thinking

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business leaders to align design goals with strategic product roadmaps.
• Drive design decisions using a mix of qualitative research, quantitative insights, and experimentation.
• Bring clarity to ambiguous problems and shape product opportunities with a strong design perspective.

User-Centric Approach

• Advocate for our diverse user base, especially learners from Tier 2/3 cities, by integrating user research and accessibility into the design process.
• Promote data-informed design through regular testing, feedback loops, and iteration.

Operational Excellence

• Optimize design team workflows and rituals for high efficiency and collaboration in agile environments.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-impact design outcomes without compromising on quality or user value.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of product design experience

  , with at least

  2 years in a design leadership/managerial role

  .
• Proven track record of leading consumer-facing product design initiatives that drive measurable user and business impact.
• A strong portfolio showcasing

  design thinking, craft, and team influence

  across multiple product lifecycles.
• Mastery in

  Figma

  and design tools, with a deep understanding of modern design systems, components, and prototyping.
• Strong grounding in UX best practices, interaction design, and mobile-first B2C experiences.
• Experience working in

  fast-paced tech environments

  , preferably in edtech, consumer-tech, or mobile platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—able to influence across product, engineering, marketing, and business.
