Role: The role of the Product Consultant is to provide leadership on implementation projects through the pre-sales support, discovery, analysis, and configuration phases. This role will need to understand (or quickly develop the understanding of) the customer needs and our platform structure to enable effective solutions for the customer. This role will lead the team in delivering the user stories that drive the implementation and QA activities for each sprint. The Product Consultant provides leadership and drives collaboration inside and outside of their assigned team to help deliver solutions that meet all the stakeholder needs. They will report to their assigned Product Manager within the company. Responsibilities: Develop in-depth product knowledge and get certified internally for the Benefits1 Platform Work with a team of Product Consultants & Business Analysts, collaborating on key tasks and offering guidance for best practices. Focusing on customer requirements, product increments, and project management to coordinate efforts between the Scrum Delivery Teams, Quality Assurance, and Product Development teams. Act as product SME point of contact for customers and on-shore, and off-shore delivery teams for questions / requests / configurations / issues on the working of the product. Show self-initiative in performing research and obtaining needed data or information during the Product Configuration and Build Stage. Work with the Product Development team on user stories as needed and validate the work done by the Product Development team as needed in the form of UAT testing. Responsible for maintaining and updating functional test cases for features and functions per sprint, release. Identify issues, update and conduct necessary analysis, and draw conclusions and findings with limited guidance. Configuration activities as required within the product through the UI. Conduct analysis of large sets of data/documents, and data models with limited guidance. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills: Functional/Technical Competencies: Total 6-7 + years of experience, and at least 3+ years as Senior Business Analyst or Product Analyst Strong technical background in API integrations/ Implementation of software products / SaaS based enterprise software applications. University degree (any field, Technical is a plus) US Healthcare knowledge (Payer Domain preferred) Behavioral Competencies: Excellent analytical skills, logical and structured thinking, and problem-solving. Leadership skills and the ability to delegate tasks to more junior team members. Superior personal and interpersonal attributes (e.g., communication and soft skills, ability to work in a team, results-oriented and a performance-oriented work style, creativity, entrepreneurial qualities, personal maturity). Ambitious, motivated, high energy, collaborative personality, and high level of integrity and reliability. Self-confident self-starter proactive in setting and meeting goals with limited supervision.
