About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Procurement Manager – Opex to lead and manage procurement activities related to operational expenditure across our pan-India offices. This includes sourcing consumables, services, AMC contracts, FMS, and daily operational support items essential for running coworking and managed spaces smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the full lifecycle of Opex procurement – from identifying needs to sourcing, negotiation, PO issuance, and vendor management.
- Handle categories like housekeeping materials, pantry supplies, admin consumables, logistics, IT peripherals, facility maintenance contracts, and recurring services.
- Build and nurture a reliable network of vendors and service providers.
- Develop and track annual Opex procurement budgets, ensuring optimized spend and timely procurement.
- Collaborate with Admin, Projects, Finance, IT, and Facility teams to understand and consolidate recurring requirements.
- Implement procurement best practices and ensure documentation and compliance with internal policies and audit norms.
- Monitor vendor performance, conduct periodic evaluations, and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs and service quality.
- Manage procurement reports, dashboards, invoice tracking, and payment coordination with finance teams.
- Stay updated with market trends, product pricing, and vendor innovations to support cost-effective procurement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in procurement operations, preferably in coworking, real estate, facilities, or corporate services.
- Proven track record in managing high-volume, pan-India procurement across multiple categories.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and tools like SAP/Zoho/Tally or any ERP system.
- Strong understanding of procurement compliance, vendor documentation, and budget controls.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage timelines, and work with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
