Procurement Operations Specialist Company: Seven Procure Location: Noida / Client Sites across Delhi NCR Experience: 3–7 years Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month About the Role We are seeking a meticulous and process-driven Procurement Operations Specialist to join our team and support a leading media-industry client. You will own the end-to-end procurement operations lifecycle—PO creation, supplier management, process optimization, and user-training—ensuring SLAs are met and best practices promoted across the organization. Key Responsibilities PO Creation & Management Generate and release Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP or designated systems per finalized vendor rates and business policies Validate data—vendor codes, tax codes, currencies, rates—and liaise with request initiators for clarifications Process supplier order confirmations, identify deviations, and align with requisitions Process Compliance & Continuous Improvement Strictly follow defined procurement processes; document and escalate any deviations Partner with Procurement Executives to review and update PO-creation policies and SOPs Respond promptly to internal and external audit queries Stakeholder Engagement & Support Act as first point of contact for high-priority purchasing and payment inquiries Facilitate information gathering with category sourcing, content management, and suppliers Provide complex system-support training (SAP, procurement tools) and educate business users on policies and procedures. Reporting & Best Practices Maintain procurement MIS—track requisitions, PO statuses, supplier data accuracy Assist month-end closing, purchasing-related reporting, and performance-metric tracking Drive procurement best-practice initiatives and foster a culture of compliance across regions Must-Have Qualifications 3–7 years in a procurement function handling direct and/or indirect materials Hands-on experience with PO/PR workflows, RFQs, vendor negotiations, and SAP or equivalent ERP Proficiency in procurement MIS and MS-Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex processes into clear guidance Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities Team-oriented attitude, professionalism, and commitment to meeting SLAs
