Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Procurement Manager. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of proven expertise in vendor development, and cost optimization within the Mechanical Equipment’s, Gen. Maintenance. The role demands strong negotiation skills, compliance. and the ability to build long-term supplier partnerships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, implement, and monitor procurement strategies.

· Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers/vendors specific.

· Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to ensure cost efficiency and quality compliance.

· Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to optimize sourcing decisions.

· Prepare, review, and manage procurement-related SOPs and documentation.

· Collaborate with production, QA/QC and Maintenance teams.

· Maintain accurate procurement records in systems and ensure timely reporting.

· Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and compliance.

Requirements

· Graduate / Post Graduate in Diploma ITI / B. Tech in Mechanical Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

· 5-8 years of procurement experience.

· Strong knowledge of Control Management, Negotiation, purchase, and vendor management.

· Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor relationship management skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office tools.

· Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Candidate Profile:

· A proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for optimizing procurement processes.

· Strong ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and stakeholders to secure best pricing and quality standards.

· Demonstrated capability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines, especially in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

· Adept at coordinating cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality, to align procurement activities with operational goals.

· Skilled in market analysis to anticipate supply trends and mitigate risks related to pricing or availability of equipment and materials.

· Committed to compliance with industry regulations, ethical sourcing practices, and continuous process improvement.

· A team player with leadership qualities, able to motivate and guide junior staff to achieve departmental objectives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
